Mighty Studio is where you design interactive templates — reusable interactions you build once with the help of AI, then use again and again across your Rise courses. Studio is the build-and-manage side; the Rise extension is where you and your team drop those templates into real courses to author content.
Templates and instances
Studio is built around two ideas:
- A template is the reusable design — the interaction itself, plus a template form that defines what's editable (titles, images, questions, colors, and so on).
- An instance is what you get when you use a template in a course and fill in that form with specific content. One template can power many instances.
This split is what lets you update a template once and have every course using it stay in sync.

How Studio fits with Rise
Studio and the Rise extension work as a pair:
- Studio (web app) — build templates with AI, manage presets, release new versions, share with your team, and submit to Discover.
- Rise extension — browse your released templates, author instances inside a course, and lock or restore individual instances.
You'll move between the two regularly: build in Studio, use in Rise.
The typical workflow
- Create a template and connect your AI tool to build it (see Creating interactive templates and Connecting your AI tool).
- Design the template form so the right things are editable.
- Test your template with Authoring test mode.
- Release the draft to make it available in Rise (see Releasing a draft).
